Nevada · safety check

Paying a Nevada ticket online starts with the court on your citation. "Statewide" pay sites? Not real.

Nevada has no statewide ticket-payment portal — the court printed on your citation handles it, and the official finder routes you there. Search results around "pay Nevada ticket online" fill with third-party brands anyway. One directory sorts all of it.

The domain check

Nevada has no statewide portal — payment runs through the court on your citation. The official finder at nvcourts.gov routes you to that court's own payment page. Examples: Las Vegas Justice Court (lasvegasjusticecourt.us), Reno Municipal (nCourt).

  • Known in Nevada: Third-party 'courtnevada.us'-style domains mimic court naming in lookup queries.
  • Third-party sites buy ads on "pay Nevada ticket" searches and resell what your court does directly — added fees, delays, or a card form the court never sees. Nevada has no single statewide pay site, so any site claiming to be one is not the court.
  • The tell is the domain, never the design. Type the official address yourself or use the links on this page — skipping the search results entirely is the simplest defense.
  • Paying online usually closes the case as a guilty finding, and any points post to your license. Many states have an option (a course, a plea alternative, or a hearing) that only exists BEFORE you pay — check yours first. What a paid ticket does to insurance →
  • The response deadline runs from your citation date whether you pay or fight — missing it creates a bigger problem than the ticket. Deadline timeline + calendar reminder →
  • Where do lookalikes come from? There is no national ticket database — our 51-jurisdiction directory of official doors covers every state. The official-portals directory →

Not sure what the citation is actually charging, which court it names, or when the clock runs out? Photograph it — the scanner reads every legible line and routes you to your options. The photo is processed in memory and never stored. How Ticket Scan works →
