Pennsylvania · safety check
PAePay is the official portal. Paying there means pleading guilty.
Pennsylvania actually has what most states don't: one official statewide payment site — PAePay on the Unified Judicial System portal, run by the state courts. The catch isn't finding it; it's that the payment flow itself is a guilty plea, and Pennsylvania gives you only 10 days to respond either way.

The official portal lives on pacourts.us. That is the whole test. The real address is ujsportal.pacourts.us (Home → Pay Online), operated by the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts for magisterial district and common pleas courts statewide.
- Clone sites chase “pay PA ticket” searches and wrap the state portal in made-up convenience fees, or collect your details on a form the court never sees. The real portal's only fee is the stated 2.75% card charge.
- The tell is the domain, never the design. Pennsylvania court payments live on pacourts.us. A dash, an extra word, or an unrelated .com means you are somewhere else.
- Type ujsportal.pacourts.us yourself or use the links on this page. Skipping the search results entirely is the simplest defense.
- The PAePay flow states it plainly: paying a citation is pleading guilty. The conviction and its points post to your record — there is no course in Pennsylvania that erases a ticket afterward. Run the Pennsylvania verdict machine →
- You have 10 days to respond to a Pennsylvania citation (Pa.R.Crim.P. 407). That clock runs whether you plan to pay or fight — missing it creates a bigger problem than the ticket. Deadline timeline + calendar reminder →
- A clean year helps later — Pennsylvania removes 3 points for every 12 consecutive months without a violation (75 Pa.C.S. §1537). What you pay today shapes that math.
Not sure what the citation is actually charging, which court it names, or when the clock runs out? Photograph it — the scanner reads every legible line and routes you to your options. The photo is processed in memory and never stored. How Ticket Scan works →
